Medit - Mob(ile) Edit

medit <mob vnum> edit the mob indicated by the virtual number
medit list shows all the mobs in your zone
medit list <zone number> shows all the mobs in the given zone
medit list <start> <end> shows all the mobs in the given range
medit save save all the changes to the mobs in your zone
medit save <zone number> save all the changes to the mobs in the given zone

Sex The mob's gender, if it has one.
Alias A list of words the system will use to identify this mob
S-Desc The short description of mob, two to three words is usually sufficient
L-Desc A longer description of the mob that will appear when the player sees the in a room, following the room description.
D-Desc A detailed description of the mob that appears when the player looks at the mob. Uses the Standard Valarin Text Editor
Level Sets the level of the mob (corresponds to the levels of players). Setting the level of the mob automatically fills in other fields in the medit screen. It is suggested you leave those fields alone.
Alignment The mobs alignment measure from 1000 (good) to -1000 (evil). The alignment of the mob affects how the alignment of the player will change for having killed the mob.
Fields 8-H should be filled in by setting the mobs level and shouldn't be touched except in rare situations (ie giving a shopkeeper mob a little more money)
Position The position (sitting, standing) that the mob takes when loaded into the game. Uses the position menu.
Default A default position for the mob to return to after a fight. Also defines when the mob's long description is displayed. Uses the position menu.
Attack The type of attack the mob uses (if it isn't armed with a weapon). Brings up the attack menu.
NPC Flags Special flags that allow you to set specific characteristics for the mob. Gives you the NPC Flags menu.
AFF flags The spells which affect the mob. Gives you the Affects Flags menu.
Script Brings up the script menu to allow you to attach a script to this mob
